Why a CDN?
Tesseract is large. We load it from jsDelivr only after you click, not on every visit.
Is the image uploaded to us?
No. Recognition runs in your tab. The library files come from the CDN.
Handwriting?
Printed text works best. Handwriting is unreliable.
Other languages?
This build ships English. More traineddata would mean extra downloads.
