Samsung Galaxy S25: 12GB RAM and Snapdragon 8 Elite – What to Expect

Samsung Galaxy S25 is almost here, and it’s already shaping up to be a serious contender. Set to launch in January (still unclear if it’s early or late), leaks are teasing some exciting upgrades—starting with 12GB of RAM as the base configuration. That’s a big win over the S24, which started at 8GB. Fingers crossed Samsung drops the 8GB variant entirely this time around.

Another major highlight is the chipset. The Galaxy S25 models might all rock Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 8 Elite, though there’s still some speculation about whether Samsung could mix it up. For now, a prototype for the Korean market running Android 15 has confirmed Qualcomm’s chip, but we’ll have to wait for the official reveal to know for sure.

As for the design? Expect it to stay close to the S24, based on leaked renders. No major surprises there, but hey—why fix something that isn’t broken?

With January just around the corner, Samsung’s next big flagship is almost ready to shine. Are you excited about the upgrades?
